The Jazz department performs at the following venues:

• Alden Biezen: AldJazz Festival - our very own MAoM Jazz festival in collaboration with Cultureel Centrum De Kimpel in Bilzen. www.aldjazz.be
• Alte Feuerwache in Cologne; public final exams, organized at the students' initiative
• Centre Céramique: Lunch concerts.
• Maastricht Academy of Music: Regular concerts staged at Maastricht Academy of Music, including (final) exam concerts, “Open Podium”, Jazz Festival Day, Pop Festival Day and Play Your Own Compositions Day.
• Coup Maastricht: Maastricht’s version of the Amsterdam Uitmarkt, held in September
• Cultuurcentrum De Kimpel in Bilzen: Bilzen Jazz Night (Belgium) - this festival features student bands performing with a high-profile guest. www.motivesforjazz.be
• Muziekgieterij Maastricht
• Parcours:a cultural event for young people with venues around Maastricht
• TEFAF (The European Fine Art Fair)
• Theater aan het Vrijthof: Maastricht Academy of Music performs regular concerts at this venue. Examples include performance with the Limburgs Symfonieorkest, Jazz Maastricht Festival, celebrating the New Academic Year of Maastricht University and other occasions.  www.theateraanhetvrijthof.nl
• Transeuropéennes Festival Culturel de l’Agglo de Rouen: One or more bands from Maastricht Academy of Music perform for two weeks at this Festival in Rouen, France.

Throughout the year, students perform at various venues in the Meuse and Rhine Euregion. Looking for even more opportunities to perform? Six times a week, student jamming sessions are held at various venues across the city, including Café Twee, Edd’s Cafe, Café De Belsj, De Hiemel, De Tramhalte and Café Hoppe.
