See all lecturersPhilippe Benoit (born 1961) teaches Flute at Conservatorium Maastricht. He also teaches Flute and Chamber music at the academies of music in Gent and Leuven (Belgium). He studied at the Stedelijk Conservatorium in Kortrijk and continued his studies in Flute and Chamber Music at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven (Belgium) with Eric Dequeker, among others. He won first prizes in harmony, counterpoint, and chamber music.

(Belgium) She obtained her « Masters degree » and « Pedagogical diploma » with greatest distinction at the ‘Royal Conservatory of music’ in Antwerp (class G.Van Riet) and her « Artist Diploma » in flute performance with greatest distinction at the ‘Carnegie Mellon University’ in Pittsburgh. (USA, class J. Baxtresser and A.Almarza) She is a laureate of several international competitions including the ‘Pittsburgh Concert Society’ and the ‘Myrna W. Brown’ International Flute Competition in Dallas. (USA)
