When the evening falls on 25 January 2020, Conservatorium Maastricht will open its doors for the tenth edition of the Night of the Classical Music. The wondrous world of classical music will be brought to life by students and teachers, performing 85 concerts  at various places in the conservatoire building. Experience heavenly music during the dark days of January.

The first notes will sound at 19:00. The Night starts off with a concert by our youngest talent,
7-year-old Akari Bastiaens, who will be performing a piano recital of works by Claude Debussy and Bohuslav Martinu, together with his teacher Joop Celis.
A wide variety of concerts will be on offer, from soloists to an orchestra. Our performers have selected a highly diverse repertoire, ranging from Baroque to contemporary music and cross-overs.
At midnight, we will end with a central concert, the Gran Partita by W.A. Mozart, performed by teachers and students in the concert hall.

During the Night of the Classical Music we offer you the perfect opportunity to get to know all sides of Conservatorium Maastricht’s Classical Department during a informative session from 17:00 till 19:00. Get a sense of our atmosphere, meet our students & teaching staff, explore the city and attend the concerts of the Night of Classical Music.
