Eva van OoijClassic
Eva Catharina van Ooij is passionate about discovering new ways and building bridges between people, cultures and disciplines. Be it as a dedicated musician, a lawyer, or as cultural entrepreneur. She felt the urge to do more than solely engaging with the public while being on stage with her cello. Hence, Eva consciously gathered knowledge, tools and professional experience in performing, pedagogy, presenting, legal reasoning, intercultural mediation, management and entrepreneurship. She holds a Master in both music and European Law and accomplished her studies in Maastricht, Amsterdam, Brussels, Freiburg and Basel. Next to her cultural activities, she is doing her PhD research at the Faculty of Law at Maastricht University regarding the subject of highly mobile professionals within the cultural industries.
Eva facilitates new approaches and developments for individuals, organisations and start-ups, and is very much looking forward to contribute to the curriculum of the conservatory as coordinator and lecturer. Proactive, creative, pragmatic: She believes in mutual respect and the power of personal development.
