Roman Krejci (born 1974) began dedicating his life to music and the guitar at the age of seventeen. Between 1993 and 2006, he studied at four different conservatoires and music colleges (Janacek Conservatory in Ostrava, Music Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Praha, Felix Mendelssohn College of Music and Theater in Leipzig and Conservatorium Maastricht). He completed all his studies with the highest marks and cum laude.
Roman has given concerts and made radio and TV recordings in several European countries. He has premiered pieces by several contemporary composers and also played them live on Czech Radio.
He currently teaches Classical Guitar and Chamber Music at Conservatorium Maastricht and gives solo and chamber music concerts. He also works as a conductor of a mandolin orchestra.
