Joop Celis

Joop Celis (born 1958) teaches Piano and Chamber Music in the Classical Music department of Conservatorium Maastricht. He also teaches at the Lemmens campus of the LUCA School of Arts in Leuven, Belgium. He is a guest lecturer at Fontys Conservatorium in Tilburg (the Netherlands) and regularly teaches masterclasses abroad in Belgium, Portugal and Asia.

Jeroen Riemsdijk

Jeroen Riemsdijk (born 1962) is a concert pianist, chamber musician, teacher, researcher and writer. He regularly performs as soloist and with leading artists in prestigious concerts halls, at festivals and in the recording studio. Riemsdijk is the artistic director of Masters on Stage and previously of the Altembrouck series in Belgium. He has premiered and commissioned many new works.

Katia Veekmans

At the age of sixteen Katia Veekmans-Cieszkowski made her debut as a soloist with the ‘Limburgs Symphonie Orkest’ in the Netherlands. Since then she has given numerous concerts at international stages.

Igor Roma

Italian pianist Igor Roma began his studies at the Conservatoire of music in Vicenza with Carlo Mazzoli and continued at the International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola, where he studied with Franco Scala and graduated as a Master in 1997.

General admission requirements

Admission requirements Master’s programme:

  • One polyphonic work
  • One étude
    One Classical sonata
    Two recital pieces from different style periods.

Please note:
The works chosen for the Master's entrance examination must have at least the level of difficulty of the final Bachelor's examination. Any deviations from the programme must first be discussed with the main subject teachers.
