On 11 June it was announced that baritone alumni Vincent Kusters is one of the prize winners of the Internationaler Robert Schumann Wettbewerb in Zwickau. The competition has a long tradition of music competitions in which musicians can participate in two categories: voice and piano.

Students will pay significantly lower tuition fees next academic year. This has been decided by the outgoing cabinet because of the backlogs in education caused by corona.
