Rhythm is the heartbeat of music, and drums is where you discover your own voice in it. You'll play your way through jazz, funk, Latin, rock and Big Band, both traditional and contemporary, developing your own hand and foot technique, sound and feel for improvisation. Not imitation of the drummers before you, but your own voice behind the kit, found on stage, in the band, not just alone in the practice room. Alongside this, dedicated lessons build your percussion skills too.
