Bart Verhagen
Bart Verhagen (born 1983) studied Music in Education and Classical Vocal Studies at Conservatorium Maastricht.
He has taught Performance to years two and three, and coordinated the integration week of the Music in Education department, since 2012.
Bart also coordinates Basic and Advanced Teaching Skills and lectures on this subject in years two, three and four. He is in charge of the instrument-specific methodology for vocal studies and supervises work placements for the Jazz, Classical and Music in Education departments.
Bart also teaches at the Lichtenberger Institute and Theater Aachen. He is the founder and artistic director of Kooracademie Maastricht (Maastricht Choir Academy), founded in 2018. In his vocal teaching practice, he teaches professionals and amateurs and regularly gives workshops to choirs.
