Alexander Boerner combines his love of jazz, world music & Latin-American styles with frequent appearances in funk/soul bands, and is a regular contributor to theatre and musical productions. He also has his own audio studio in Cologne.

Jan van den Boomen

Jan van den Boomen (born 1959) has taught Double Bass, Bass Guitar, Methodology and Combo in the Jazz/Pop department of Conservatorium Maastricht since 1987. Jan van den Boomen has performed with nearly all symphony orchestras in the Netherlands, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.

John Goldsby

Since 1994, John Goldsby has been a member of the Westdeutscher Rundfunk Big Band (also known as the WDR Big Band or the Cologne Radio Big Band). From 1980 to 1994, Goldsby lived in New York City and was a fixture on the jazz scene there. He continues to contribute to the art form as a bassist, bandleader, composer, teacher, clinician and author.

Matthias Akeo Nowak

Matthias has studied orchestral music, jazz and popular music at Musikhochschule Mannheim, Germany and Queens College, New York. He participated in master classes with Charlie Haden, Drew Gress, Eric Harland and has played in classical orchestras, such as Young Austrian Philharmonic Orchestra and Junge Deutsche Philharmonie.
