The programme consists of various online activities for PABO and conservatory students, professionals within the training institutes, education and partners. For example, there is a student block with online music workshops and a student challenge about pop music kicked off by the band De Staat. There is also an in-depth block with themes such as subject integration, music and educational technology and internship supervision, and there is a round table discussion about what the Music Education Agreement has achieved so far.
We're very excited about continuing our part in this agreement. Our teachers Jan Gooren, Yolande Eymael, Jori Klomp, Sander Ruijters and Bart Verhagen of the Music in Education Department (Docent Muziek) provide lessons and worksessions at the PABO. PABO students that choose the Music specialization receive band coaching four times a year at Conservatorium Maastricht. Our students have the opportunity to do an internship in the music lessons of de Nieuwste Pabo. And finally, on October 20th, our students and PABO students will meet at Theater aan het Vrijthof for an educational performance by Philharmonie ZuidNederland! After the performance, workshops will take place!

Muziek Opleiders Akkoord
Het programma bestaat uit verschillende online activiteiten voor PABO- en conservatoriumstudenten, professionals binnen de opleidingsinstituten, het onderwijs en partners. Zo is er een studentenblok met online muziekworkshops en een studentenchallenge over popmuziek afgetrapt door de band De Staat. Ook is er een verdiepingsblok met thema's als vakintegratie, muziek en onderwijstechnologie en stagebegeleiding en is er een rondetafelgesprek over wat het Akkoord Muziekeducatie tot nu toe heeft bereikt.
We zijn erg enthousiast over het voortzetten van ons aandeel in deze overeenkomst. Onze docenten Jan Gooren, Yolande Eymael, Jori Klomp, Sander Ruijters en Bart Verhagen verzorgen lessen en werksessies op de PABO. PABO-studenten die kiezen voor de afstudeerrichting Muziek krijgen vier keer per jaar bandcoaching aan het Conservatorium Maastricht. Onze leerlingen hebben de mogelijkheid om stage te lopen in de muzieklessen van de Nieuweste Pabo. En tot slot, op 20 oktober ontmoeten onze studenten en PABO-studenten elkaar in Theater aan het Vrijthof voor een educatieve voorstelling van Philharmonie ZuidNederland! Na de voorstelling vinden er workshops plaats!
