The International Horn Week 2024 at Conservatorium Maastricht
For horn students, one of the most highly valued events of the academic year is approaching – The International Horn Week! This prestigious event, held this year at the Conservatorium Maastricht, brings together talented horn students from leading music academies including Conservatorio L.B. Martini Bologna, HfM Karlsruhe, HfM Trossingen, HfM Nürnberg, and the Academy of Music Krakow.
Throughout the week, students will participate in an exciting programme consisting of master classes, recitals, auditions, training sessions, and lectures, focusing on key aspects such as didactic methods, advanced techniques, orchestral studies, and ensemble playing.
With master classes by renowned horn professors: Saar Berger, Willy Bessems, Guido Corti, Wojciech Kamionka, Johannes Otter and Will Sanders In addition, piano accompaniment will be provided by Zane Stradyna and Robert Weirauch.
We are excited to announce that the programme components below will be open to the public, offering a unique opportunity for external audiences to experience the artistry and expertise during this week.
