Anne-Maria Hölscher - accordion 
As an enthusiastic chamber musician, the accordionist Anne-Maria Hölscher regularly performs with different chamber music groups, ensembles for contemporary music such as Ensemble Ascolta, Klangforum Heidelberg, Collegium Novum Zürich and different orchestras. In addition, she regularly performs solo recitals with a broad range of repertoire spanning the last five centuries. 
Anne-Maria Hölscher has been invited to perform at the Schwetzinger Festspiele, the Wittener Tagen für Neue Kammermusik, the Europäisches Musikfest Stuttgart, the Eclat-Festival Stuttgart, the Lucerne Festival, the Internationale Ferienkurse Darmstadt, the Tage für Neue Musik Weingarten, Ultraschall Berlin und Transit Leuven. 
Numerous world premieres for accordion solo and different instrumentations with accordion have resulted from collaborations with composers such as Klaus Huber, Marc Andre, Johannes Kalitzke, Nikolaus Brass, Oliver Schneller, Fabien Lévy, Márton Illés and many others. 
Several radio and cd recordings document her artistic work. 
Anne-Maria Hölscher has been Professor of Accordion and Chamber Music at the Hochschule Luzern – Musik (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts). This position allows her to share her instrumental and musical knowledge as well as her excitement about the versatility of her instrument with young accordionists. Over the years, she accompanied many students on their path to active and engaged accordionists, dedicated both to performing and teaching.  
She received her own musical education in Weimar (G), Trossingen (G) and Toronto (CA) from Claudia Buder, Hugo Noth and Joseph Macerollo. During her studies, Anne-Maria Hölscher was supported by scholarships from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, the Kulturstiftung der Deutschen Bank and the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst).
