The JazzAward of Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH) is awarded annually at JazzBaltica. Since 2008, the "IB.SH JazzAward", worth 5,000 euros, has recognised the artistic potential of young, promising German musicians.
This year, singer Ella Burkhardt won this award. She convinced the jury with her highly personal interpretation of standard and original compositions, her versatile voice and her playful approach to different musical traditions.
