We are incredibly sad to tell you that our dear viola student Xabier Lopez de Munain, who graduated from our conservatory in June 2022, passed away after a brief coma due to an unfortunate fall while playing soccer.
We remember Xabier as a very dedicated, talented, and committed student.
We cannot imagine what his family, friends, and other loved ones have had to endure over the past week.
We wish his parents, family, and friends every strength during this difficult time to cope with this great loss.
Starting today, we have set up a memorial area in the Bonnefantenstraat hallway. Should you have any beautiful, happy, or special memories to share, it would be nice if you would write them down in the memorial book.
