Doré Quartet is an upcoming quartet with young members from Italy and Spain. Born in 2021 within the Conservatorium Maastricht, the quartet is made up of violinists Ilaria Taioli and Samuele Di Gioia, violist José Manuel Muriel López and cellist Caterina Vannoni. In the previous season the quartet has performed in a series of regional concerts in Landgraaf, Heerlen and Kerkrade for Orlando Festival, for which they have been selected to participate with scholarship. In addition, they participate in the Musica Sacra Kunstfestival with two performances in Theater aan het Vrijthof in Maastricht and in Cultuurcentrum Hasselt in Belgium. The quartet is currently studying with Marc Tooten and specializing at Stauffer Center for Strings with Quartetto di Cremona. Doré Quartet will perform Divertimento in D major by Mozart, String quartet No. 2 Op.13 in A minor by Mendelssohn and Aheym by B. Dessner in the Salviuskerkje on November 27th 2022.
