The acclaimed Jugendsinfonieorchester Leipzig, around 70 young musicians aged 14 to 20, presents a dynamic and diverse programme. The evening features Beethoven’s First Symphony, Wagner’s prelude to Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Copland’s western classic Hoe-Down, and a selection of iconic film music. Having won several national awards at the German Orchestra Competition, this youth orchestra promises an evening full of energy and outstanding music.
