This project is part of the theory elective modules of the Bachelor programme year 3. Students worked in groups and were coached by teachers of different disciplines: organ, music theory, choral conducting and performance. At the offset of the project students were given the topic REFLECTION, eighteen pictures and music material from varied repertoire, like Gregorian chant, Purcell, Dallapiccola and Kurtag. Each ensemble chose one or two repertoire pieces as the musical and conceptual start of their creative process. The creative process was based on analyzing, reflecting, improvising, experimenting and composing. The concert you are about to hear, is the result of this creative process. The first part of the concert is in St. Servaas basiliek and the second part in Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe basiliek (at 7 minutes walking distance).
