Experience the conversations between the traditional and unconventional; the journey from concert halls to the surrounds of the castle of Eijsden with chamber opera, improvisation, soundscapes along the way. The composition class led by Vykintas Baltakas presents the bold.

Someone gets lost in his thoughts and finds himself trapped in a dark place. A process that is never openly spoken about is brought on stage as the dialogue in Someone’s head is played out and takes on form. But what are they even talking about? The dialogue fails. Suddenly, there’s loneliness. What to do now? And how do you get rid of these underlying bitter undertones?

 Goya van der Heyden - “untitled kettle project” 

Inspired by kettle whistles and kitchen sounds, Goya van der Heyden is presenting her final work for her residency at Intro in Situ on the 4th of July. Joining the kitchen team are Sachit Ajmani and Nader Adabnejad, cooking up different sounds, and bringing the dish full circle.

Four sound and listening walks around Castle Eijsden and Laag Caestert are being organized together with Stichting Klankweb. Visitors are taken along in a special way and will come into direct contact with art and culture. The students of the composition class of Vykintas Baltakas of Conservatorium Maastricht have written new works especially for this occasion. A group of up to forty people will depart from the Witte Paolkes at four times. From there, the walk will take about 60 minutes and will end at Reinekenshof. During the walk, Wiebe Bijker or Marie-Anne van der Cruys of the Eijsdens foundation will explain past historical events in the places.
