We regret to announce the passing of Jos Dresens-Wolterman, who passed away on 14 November 2025 at the age of 98.
Jos was a pianist and pedagogue, awarded the Prix d’Excellence in Piano, and was associated with Conservatorium Maastricht for many years. Her career is believed to have begun in the late 1950s and continued well beyond her retirement. She is estimated to have taught until the age of seventy-two.
Jos was the widow of Toine Dresens, who was also long involved in teaching music theory at the conservatoire.
We remember Jos as a dedicated teacher and valued colleague. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family and loved ones.
