Preparatory Course Master Classical

If you want to prepare for our Master's programme 'Classical Music', you can start with our preparatory course Master. The preparatory course Master Classical Music is a one-year programme that helps you to prepare for the Master of Classical Music.

Indications for applicants:

  • you have bachelor of music level and you have shown master potential
  • your English language skills are not yet at the required master's level
  • you want to learn more about research and entrepreneurship
  • after the master audition, the committee decided that you do not have a master's level yet

More about the programme  
The programme consists of the following lessons:

  • Main instrument lessons 20x 
  • Correpetition 10x 30 minutes for strings, wind, brass, singers. (for other instrument 4 extra main subject lessons instead of correpetition) 
  • One-on-one sessions with a study coach to prepare for the master's programme 2x 30 min
  • Research lessons 3x
  • Entrepreneurship lessons 3x

Additionally, without extra costs, you can also:

  • Perform in chamber music projects
  • Perform in orchestra projects
  • Perform in presentation evenings
  • Join masterclasses and workshops
  • Join the introduction week in the first week of the school year
  • Follow English lessons

Admission/assessments and certificate  
In order to be admitted for the Preparatory Course Master Classical you have to apply for Master of Music and take the entrance exam. 
After successfully completing the preparatory course Master, you will receive a certificate of participation. 
To continue with the Master of Music, you must be admitted to this programme. For this, you need to apply for the Classical Master programme and take the entrance exam.

Costs  
The tuition fee for the 2024-2025 school year will be €2530. The information 2025-2026 will follow.
