With an unhealthy obsession for knowing every possible detail and making sure all processes run smoothly, Luke leads projects across the Jazz and Music in Education departments of the conservatoire.
A familiar face at Conservatorium Maastricht, Luke successfully completed Bachelor and Master programmes in classical solo singing with Frans Kokkelmans. During this time, he showed an enthusiasm for also working behind the scenes in music. In 2012, together with fellow singing students, Luke founded The Opera Company: a non-profit organisation that provided the classical singing department with extracurricular masterclasses and performance opportunities. Such an organisational bug has led Luke to his current position at the conservatory.
Luke is also caretaker of the Franciscus Romanusweg building, being point of contact for any defects in equipment, and arranging the lending thereof.
