Jazz guitarist Peter Bernstein (1967, New York City) has been a part of the jazz scene in New York and abroad since 1989. During that time he has participated in over 200 recordings and numerous festival, concert, and club performances with musicians from all generations. As a leader, Peter has released 12 albums and a DVD ('Live at Smoke'). He got his first break in 1990 when he was invited to join legendary guitarist Jim Hall at the JVC Jazz Festival alongside John Scofield and Pat Metheny, later released as 'Live at Town Hall Vol. 2' by Music Masters. Bernstein is perhaps best known for his work with Bernstein/Goldings/Stewart as they are considered the “best organ trio of the last decade” (New York Times). He’s been a band member of a.o. Diana Krall, Joshua Redman, Dr. Lonnie Smith and many more.
