Piotr Jasiurkowski is a prize-winning Violinist and dedicated Classical Violin teacher at Conservatorium Maastricht, who brings real-world performing expertise and thoughtful pedagogical guidance to students in his violin class.
 

Piotr Jasiurkowski has won various prizes at international violin competitions and has performed as a soloist with renowned orchestras, including Sinfonia Varsovia, Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, and Korean Chamber Ensemble. His recitals and concerts have taken place in prominent venues throughout Europe (including The Concertgebouw in Amsterdam), Asia (such as the Great Concert Hall at Seoul Arts Center), and Africa (Cairo Opera House, Egypt). He is involved in the international violin world, serving as a jury member at various violin competitions.

Among his honors are the Prize of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Poland for exceptionally talented young artists, the prestigious Huygens Scholarship from the Dutch government and extended for an additional two years in recognition of exceptional achievements—and the distinction of being named Polish Person of the Year in the Netherlands in the culture category (Polonus 2015).

Piotr Jasiurkowski studied in the violin class of Prof. Robert Szreder at Conservatorium Maastricht. During his studies, he benefited from lessons with world-renowned violinists including Vadim Repin, Herman Krebbers, Yair Kless, and Akiko Suwanai.

Immediately following graduation in 2011—at the age of 23—he was appointed violin teacher at the same conservatory, making him the youngest main subject teacher ever appointed at Conservatorium Maastricht and among the youngest in conservatories in general.
